COLORFUL CUTLERY

June 8, 2011

While watching the Nate Berkus show a few weeks ago, a guest had a great idea for sprucing up old cutlery. Using Plasti Dip, (available at most hardware stores) you can change the color of each spoon, fork, or knife to match whatever color scheme you are going for. A great idea for a dinner party, brunch, or just to change things up a bit; Plasti Dip comes in a wide array of colors and they actually have a “create your own color” kit now.

I decided on yellow and I was very pleased with the result. I was even more pleased with how easy the whole process was. Instead of throwing out an older set of cutlery, I now have an extra set of bright summer-ready utensils for any meal or gathering.
