We’re best friends and we love to cook.  Food inspires and enriches our lives and we’ve wanted to share our passion with everyone for quite some time.  We love to seek out new experiences and create wonderful settings where our friends and family can get together and have a great time.  We lose track of time planning menus for parties and we love getting our hands dirty.  We want to fill you in on our gourmet experiences; whether it’s a cool new restaurant we’ve tried, a delicious recipe we found, random cooking tips or tantalizing kitchen gossip, we want our readers to enjoy the benefits of all our amazing finds as we journey through life (which can be quite the adventure, and at times, the misadventure).  We hope you enjoy our daily entries and allow us to bring a little sugar, spice and everything nice into your lives.       Hi Janie! This whole world of blogging has definitely been a learning process for both of us. What really helped us in the beginning was setting a “blogging schedule” for ourselves which gave us some consistency. Just make sure to have fun with it and post about topics/and or things you are passionate about!

    p.s. i can comprehend how much you love preparing meals. if you ever get a chance, give me a feedback on the tandori inspired chicken and homemade coleslaw. Although yours would most lkely be yummier!

    It looks like your tandoori chicken, hot dogs and coleslaw were a hit! I always like my coleslaw to have a kick to it, so I add a lot of white wine vinegar. Also, LOVE that you have a secret ingredient: Soy Sauce! My mom, being Japanese, used soy sauce as a secret ingredient in almost everything. Ha. And your tandoori recipe sounds delicious. Have you thought about also adding turmeric, coriander, paprika and some cloves? Might give it more depth. You may just have inspired me to cook tandoori chicken one night this week. Thanks Sarah!

      p.s. ORIGINALLY, i did add white vinegar. That day itself I ran out of it, so audaciousy added few drops of soy sause instead. It didn’t taste too bad at all :)
